Varèse Sarabande has announced the premiere vinyl release of the soundtrack album for Aardman & DreamWorks Animation’s 2005 feature Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit directed by Nick Park & Steve Box and starring Peter Sallis, Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter & Peter Kay. The album features the film’s original score composed by Julian Nott (who scored all the Wallace & Gromit shorts) and produced by Hans Zimmer, as well as additional music by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Gilded Age), Jim Dooley (Pushing Daisies, Obsessed, When a Stranger Calls), Lorne Balfe (who later co-scored the second Wallace & Gromit feature with Nott) and Alastair King (The Last Detective). The soundtrack will be released as a collectible picture-disc edition on September 18 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released the original 2005 soundtrack album digitally and on CD. Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit opened in theaters in late 2005 and is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
