Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the drama Fjord. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kaspar Kaae (In Order of Disappearance, Out Stealing Horses, Bordertown, A Good Family, The Swedish Connection). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to a track from the composer’s score after the jump. Fjord is written and directed by Cristian Mungiu and stars Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, Lisa Carlehed, Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Lisa Loven Kongsli and Henrikke Lund-Olsen. The movie revolves around an immigrant Romanian family living in Norway hwo is subject to an investigation and faces the scrutiny of the local judicial system.The drama, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where it received the Palme d’Or, opened in Romanian theaters last month and is set to be released in U.S. theaters on October 9 by Neon.
