440 Hz has released a soundtrack album for the French animated feature Jim Queen. The album features the film’s original songs and score composed by Kirosen (aka Mathieu Rosenzweig & Benjamin Nakache) (Submarine Jim, The Unstoppable Yellow Yeti Rocky Kwaterner). Jim Queen is directed by Marco Nguyen & Nicolas Athané and tells the story of a gay influencer whose life crumbles when a virus turns Paris’ gay men straight and teams up with a twink to find a rumored cure in the Marais district. The animated comedy premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is being released in French theaters today. No domestic distribution deal has been announced yet.
