Singer/songwriter and composer Camille (aka Camille Dalmais) (Emilia Pérez) is reteaming with director Marie Kreutzer on the new Austrian/German/French drama Gentle Monster. The film is written and directed by Kreutzer and stars Léa Seydoux, Laurence Rupp, Catherine Deneuve and Jella Haase. The movie follows a renowned concert pianist who decides to move her family to the countryside outside Munich to settle into a calmer life, but is forced to confront the unthinkable when the police arrive at their door one morning and begin questioning her husband. Alexander Glehr (What We Wanted, Ugly) and Johanna Scherz are producing the project. Camille has previously composed the music for Kreutzer’s last feature, Corsage. Gentle Monster is premiering this weekend at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
