Harry Escott (Shame, Roadkill, Hard Candy, Joan, Welcome to the Punch, The English Game, The Wedding Guest, The Face of an Angel) is the composer of the new ITV drama Gone. The show is created by George Kay (Lupin, Hijack) inspired by Julie Mackay’s & Robert Murph’s book To Hunt a Killer and stars David Morrissey, Eve Myles, Jennifer Macbeth, Nicholas Nunn, Arthur Hughes, Elliot Cowan, Rupert Evans, Billy Barratt, Oscar Batterham, Jodie McNee and Clare Higgins. The 6-part psychological drama is set against the backdrop of a prestigious private Bristol school and follows the local Headmaster who becomes the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance. Kay is also executive producing the Observatory Pictures & New Pictures production with Willow Grylls (The Missing, The Long Shadow) and Matt Sandford, as well as Richard Laxton (Effie Gray, Burton and Taylor) who is also directing. Gone is premiering in UK tonight on ITV and will also be available to stream on ITVX.
