Adrian Johnston (Primate, The Strangers: Prey at Night, Lassie, The Child in Time, Brideshead Revisited, A Very Royal Scandal, The Tunnel) is the composer of the new ITV original drama Betrayal. The show is written by David Eldridge (The Scandalous Lady W) and stars Shaun Evans, Romola Garai, Zahra Ahmadi, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Gamba Cole, Omid Djalili, Matthew Tennyson, Hayley Tamaddon and Anthony Flanagan . The 4-part thriller directed by Julian Jarrold (A Royal Night Out, Sulphur & White) follows a mid-career MI-5 officer’s race against time to thwart a major threat while confronting personal turmoil.Eldrige, Evans and Jarrold are also executive producing the Mammoth Screen production with Tom Leggett (Code of Silence) and Damien Timmer (Endeavour, Poldark). Johnston has previously scored the Jarrold-produced theatrical features Kinky Boots, Becoming Jane & Bridesheads Revisited, as well as numerous TV productions. Betrayal is premiering in the UK tonight on ITV and will also be available to stream on ITVX.
