22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Ablaze (Les Braises). The album features the film’s original music composed by Grégoire Auger (Burn Out, Promises, The Eavesdropper). Ablaze is co-written and directed by Thomas Kruithof and stars Virginie Efira, Arieh Worthalter, Mama Prassinos, Justine Lacroix, Pascal Oumaklouf, Loup Pinard and Aude Briant. The movie revolves around a deeply connected couple who face a pivotal moment in their relationship when one’s fervent political activism begins to tear at the fabric of their life. The drama opened in French theaters earlier this month. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
