Drawing Number One has released a soundtrack album for the comedy drama My Dead Friend Zoe. The album features the film’s original score composed by Dan Romer (Lilo & Stitch, LucaStation Eleven, Beasts of the Southern WildManiacSuperman & Lois, Beasts of No Nation). Also included is the original song Beautiful Ruin co-written (with Romer) and performed by Kaia Kater. My Dead Friend Zoe is co-written and directed by Kyle Hausmann-Stokes and stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Natalie Morales, Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Gloria Reuben. The movie follows a veteran stuck a bizarre relationship with her dead wise-cracking Army pal as she reunites with her solitary grandfather at his lake house. The dramedy, which premiered at last year’s SXSW Film Festival, was released in U.S. theaters this past February by Briarcliff Entertainment & Legion M and is now available on VOD and DVD.
