Jim Williams (Titane, Possessor, Beast, Raw, Resurrection, House of Spoils, A Field in England, Sightseers) has been tapped to score the upcoming supernatural body horror feature Bloody Tennis. The film is written and directed by Nikias Chryssos (A Pure Place, Der Bunker) and stars Sandra Guldberg Kampp, Helena Zengel, Lucie Zhang, Tracy Gotoas, Lily Taieb, Elina Löwensohn and Zlatko Burić. The movie follows a young woman who – after being admitted to an elite tennis academy hidden deep in the south of Europe – must contend not only with the fierce brutality of her teammates, but with the school’s increasingly sinister undercurrents. Jonas Katzenstein & Maximilian Leo (The Assessment, Stowaway, Dead of Winter) are producing the project for Augenschein. No word yet on a release date for Bloody Tennis. (Variety)
Williams’ other recent projects include Julia Ducournau’s Alpha, which opened in French theaters this past August following a premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and will be released in the U.S. next year by Neon.
