Cristobal Tapia de Veer (The White LotusSmileBabygirl, Utopia, The Girl with All the Gifts, The Third Day, National Treasure) has recently been scoring the upcoming drama &Sons. The film is directed by Pablo Trapero (The Clan, White Elephant) and stars Bill Nighy, Noah Jupe, George MacKay, Johnny Flynn, Dominic West, Anna Geislerová and Imelda Staunton. The movie is based on David Gilbert’s 2013 novel of the same title and revolves around a reclusive literary superstar who calls his sons home for an unbelievable announcement. Trapero also co-wrote the screenplay with Sarah Polley (Women Talking, Away from Her). He is also producing the project with Phin Glynn (You, Me & Him, Waiting for Anya), Axel Kuschevatzky (Argentina, 1985, Black Snow), Cindy Teperman (Kill the Jockey), Christina Piovesann (Infinity Pool, The Nest), Emily Kulasa, Trudie Styler (Freak Show, Moon), Celine Rattray (The Kids Are Alright, Bernie) and Jackie Donohue. &Sons will premiere next month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
