David Carbonara is the composer of the new CBS period drama Vegas. The series is created by Nicholas Pileggi (Goodfellas, Casino) & Greg Walker and stars Dennis Quaid as Sheriff Ralph Lamb and Michael Chiklis as Chicago mobster Vincent Savino. Carrie-Anne Moss, Jason O’Mara and Taylor Handley are co-starring in the show, which is set in 1960s Las Vegas as it begins its rise as a gambling and entertainment mecca. James Mangold (Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma) has directed the pilot episode and is also executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with his producing partner Cathy Konrad (Scream), Pileggi, Walker and Arthur Sarkissian (Rush Hour trilogy). The show marks Carbonara’s first TV scoring assignment since the critically acclaimed and multiple Emmy Award-winning AMC drama Mad Men. John Houlihan (Austin Powers, Training Day, Looper) who previously worked with Walker on the CBS drama The Defenders is music supervising the series, which also uses numerous songs from the period in each episode. Vegas is set to premiere on September 25, 2012 and will be airing Tuesday nights on CBS. For updates on the drama, visit the official show website.

What is the awesome song being played at the end of October 2nd CBS Vegas episode?
I caught the words… “Somedays I try hard… to watch my mouth… to say the right things… but the wrong just slips right out.”
It finishes up with the words… “Oh… I’m gettin’ used to walking on a thin line”
Q: Is it available anywhere?

There was a song played in 10/30 Solid Citizens episode when Tim was found/returned. What is the song/artist/album?

Who is singing Jingle Bells on tonight’s episode 12/1812?
what is the theme tune, and who by ? (bit that plays when the VEGAS piece comes on screen, blues-y type guitar)
Did you ever find out who did the theme? It’s driving me mad.
