Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series The Yogurt Shop Murders directed by Margaret Brown about the tragic murder of four teenage girls at an I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt Shop on December 6, 1991 in Austin, TX. The show’s original music is composed by Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Shining Girls, Triple 9, Broken City, Earthquake Bird, Dispatches from Elsewhere). Premiering on Wednesday, August 6, is the action comedy The Pickup directed by Tim Story and starring Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, Pete Davidson, Eva Longoria, Andrew Dice Clay, Jack Kesy, Marshawn Lynch and Ismael Cruz Cordova. Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Lost in Space, Ride Along, Sausage Party, Tom & Jerry, Agent Carter, Back in Action, Supernatural) has composed the film’s original music. Premiering on Thursday, August 7, is the sci-fi comedy series Demascus created by Tearrance Chisholm and starring Okieriete Onaodowan, Janet Hubert, Martin Lawrence, Caleb Eberhardt, Shakira Ja’nai Paye, Brittany Adebumola, Tyrel Jackson Williams, Sasha Hutchings and Amos Blackmon. The show’s original music is composed by Raphael Saadiq (Insecure, Lovecraft Country, Freaky Tales, Underground, The After Party, Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Black Nativity). Premiering on Friday, August 8, is the Starz original series Outlander: Blood of My Blood developed by Matthew B. Robert and starring Hermione Corfield, Jeremy Irvine, Harriet Slater, Jamie Roy, Tony Curran, Sam Retford, Séamus McLean Ross,Rory Alexander and Conor MacNeil. Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Walking Dead, Happy Death Day, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica, Freaky, God of War) who previously scored all episodes of the original Outlander series is composing the show’s original music. The Outlander prequel, which explores the lives and relationships of two couples as they fight against all odds to be together, will air every Friday night on Starz.
