Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and guitarist Keb’ Mo’ is reuniting with writer/producer Chuck Lorre (Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang heory) on the new Netflix original series Leanne. Together with his Yolabelle International team, he has composed the original music for the show created by Susan McMartin, Lorre & Leanne Morgan and starring Morgan herself, alongside Kristen Johnston, Celia Weston, Blake Clark, Graham Rogers, Ryan Stiles and Hannah Pilkes. The comedy revolves around a resilient Southern mom whose life takes an unexpected turn when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another womans and starts over with the support of her loving, but unfiltered family. McMartin, Lorre & Morgan are also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Nick Bakay (Young Sheldon, The Kominksy Method) and Judi Marmel (Bookie, About My Father). Keb’ Mo’ has previously co-written the theme for the CBS series B Positive with Lorre and also contributed music to the Lorre-produced hit show Mike & Molly. Leanne is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.
