Hollywood Records has released a new version of Christina Vidal‘s song Take Me Away from Freakier Friday. The track (originally written by Andrew Klippel, Barry Palmer, Micaela Slayford, Belinda Reid, Jessica Bennet & Jaclyn Pearson for 2003’s Freaky Friday movie) is produced by Suzy Shinn, performed by the fictional band Pink Slip & Vidal and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Freakier Friday is directed by Nisha Ganatra and stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, Sophia Hammons, Rosalind Chao, Vanessa Bayer, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Chad Michael Murray and Mark Harmon. The comedy (scored by Amie Doherty) will be released in theaters nationwide on August 8 by Walt Disney Pictures.
