Intrada Records has announced the release of the label’s new Kickstarter-funded recordings of three scores for 1960s/70s television movies composed by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Mummy, Chinatown, Alien, Patton, Planet of the Apes, Basic Instinct). Titles include 1972’s drama Pursuit directed by Michael Crichton and starring Ben Gazzara, Martin Sheen & E.G. Marshall, 1970’s horror thiller Crawlspace directed by John Newland & Buzz Kulik and starring Tom Happer, Arthur Kennedy & Teresa Wright and 1968’s The People Next Door (directed by David Greene), the opening installment of the second season of CBS Playhouse. The composer’s music for three films was newly recorded with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Adam Klemens.
