B Original has released a soundtrack album for the French crime drama Little Jaffna. The album features the film’s original music composed by Maxence Dussere (Wild Seas, Houria, De Grace). Little Jaffna is co-written and directed by Lawrence Valin and stars Valin himself, Kawsie Chandra, Puviraj Raveendran and Vela Ramamoorthy. The movie follows a young police officer from a Tamil family as he’s tasked with infiltrating a criminal enterprise in Paris that’s funnelling money to the Eelam liberation movement back home in Sri Lanka. The drama premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and just opened in French theaters last Wednesday. No word on a domestic distribution deal.
