Premiering on Wednesday, December 11, is Pixar’s Disney+ original series Dream Productions written and directed by Mike Jones and starring Paula Pell, Richard Ayoade, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Alli Maki,Kensington Tallman, Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, Phyllis Smith and Lewis Black. The show’s original music is composed by Nami Melumad (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Thor: Love and Thunder, Star Trek: Prodigy, An American Pickle, One Fast Move, Absentia). Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on December 20. Premiering on Thursday, December 12, is the Netflix original series No Good Deed created by Liz Feldman and starring Lisa Kudrow, Linda Cardellini, Ray Romano, Abbi Jacobson, O-T Fagbenle, Poppy Liu, Denis Leary and Teyonah Parris. Siddhartha Khosla (Only Murders in the Building, This Is Us, Welcome to Chippendales, The Idea of You, Rabbit Hole, A Family Affair, Looking for Alaska) has composed the show’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering on Thursday is the Norwegian limited series La Palma created by Martin Sundland, Lars Gudmestad & Harald Rosenløw-Eeg and starring Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Anders Baasmo, Alma Günther, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, Bernard Storm Lager, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson and Jorge de Juan. The show’s original music is composed by Johannes Ringen (Troll, The Quake, The Arctic Convoy, Captain Fall, The Girl from Oslo, The Burning Sea). The disaster drama, which follows a Norwegian family vacationing on La Palma and faces disaster when a young researcher discovers alarming signs of an imminent volcanic eruption, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
Premiering in the U.S. on Friday, December 13 is the British TV series The Jetty created by Cat Jones and starring Jenna Coleman, Tom Glynn-Carney, Archie Renaux, Laura Marcus, Ruby Stokes, Weruche Opia and Bo Bragason. Tim Morrish (One Day, Brassic, Fifteen-Love, Red Rose) has composed the show’s original music. Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past October.
