Martin Phipps (The Crown, Napoleon, Woman in Gold, Victoria, War & Peace, Peaky Blinders, The Honourable Woman, The Aftermath) has composed the original music for the upcoming British Netflix original series Black Doves. The show is created by Joe Barton (Giri/Haji, The Lazarus Project) and stars Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw, Sarah Lancashire, Andrew Koji, Andrew Buchan, Sam Troughton, Kathryn Hunter, Omari Douglas, Ella Lily Hyland and Gabrielle Creevy. The spy thriller is set against the backdrop of London at Christmas and follows a quick-witted, down-to-earth, dedicated wife and mother who also happens to be professional spy who – for the past ten years – has been passing her politician husband’s secrets to the shadowy organisation she works for. Barton & Knightley are also executive producing the project with SISTER’s Jane Featherstone (Chernobyl, Broadchurch) and Chris Fry (Kaos, Landscapers). Black Doves will premiere on December 5, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
