Christopher Lennertz (The BoysSausage PartyLost in Space, Ride Along, Tom & Jerry, Agent Carter,  Supernatural) has composed the original score for the upcoming Netflix original film Back in Action. The movie is directed by Seth Gordon (Four Christmases, The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters) and stars Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Glenn Close, Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, McKenna Roberts, Jamie Demetriou, and Rylan Jackson. The action comedy follows a couple who – years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family – are pulled back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown. Gordon also co-wrote the screenplay with Brendan O’Brien (Neighbors, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates). He is also producing the project for Exhibit A, alongside Jenno Topping (The Heat, Hidden Figures), Peter Chernin (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Greatest Showman) and Sharla Sumpter Bridgett (The Blackening, Praise This) for Chernin Entertainment, as well as Beau Bauman (The Umbrella Academy, Cry Wolf) for Good One Productions. Lennertz has previously collaborated with Gordon on several features, including Horribles Bosses, Identity Thief and Baywatch. Back in Action will premiere on January 17, 2025 exclusively on Netflix.

Lennertz also continues to score Prime Video’s The Boys and its spin-off Gen V, which both will return for new seasons.
