Colin Stetson (Hereditary, The Menu, Color Out of Space, The First, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) is the composer of the upcoming Netflix original documentary Martha. The film is directed by R.J. Cutler (The September Issue, If I Stay) and traces Martha Stewart’s rise from teenage model to her reign as the original influencer and America’s first self-made female billionaire. The movie features revealing interviews with the icon herself and those from her inner circle. Cutler is also producing the project with Jane Cha Cutler (Dear…), Alina Cho, Austin Wilkin and Trevor Smith (Belushi, The Disappearance of Shere Hite). Martha is premiering this weekend at the 2024 Telluride Film Festival and will make its streaming debut on October 30, 2024 on Netflix.
Stetson’s other recent feature projects include Will Joines’ & Karrie Crouse’s horror thriller Hold Your Breath, which will debut next month at the Toronto International Film Festival before premiering on October 3 on Hulu.
