Deutsche Grammophon has announced the concert album John Williams in Tokyo. The album features the the live recordings (performed by the Saito Kinen Orchestra) of the Hollywood legend’s 2023 concert at Suntory Hall in Tokyo, where he reunited with conductor Seiji Ozawa. Among the titles features on the release are Superman, Star Wars: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back & The Last Jedi, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone & Chamber of Secrets, Schindler’s List and Raiders of the Lost Ark. The record will be released digitally on May 3, 2024 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Superman March) is already available to stream/download now.
