Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the German Netflix original series Dear Child (Liebes Kind). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel, The Last of Us, The Book of Life, The Motorcycle Diaries) and Juan Luqui (Wild Life, Monsterland, The Fight). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here. Check out the composers’ title track after the jump. A vinyl edition will be coming out later this year and is available for pre-order on Amazon. Dear Child is written and directed by Isabel Kleefeld & Julian Pörksen and stars Kim Riedle, Naila Schuberth, Haley Louise Jones, Sammy Schrein, Hans Löw, Birge Schade, Justus von Dohnányi, Julika Jenkins and Seraphina Maria Schweiger. The 6-part thriller is based on Romy Hausmann’s novel of the same title and centers on woman who escapes a highly secured home, where she has lived for over ten years in complete isolation with two children. The series will premiere next Thursday, September 7 on Netflix.
