Sony Classical has released the first track from the score album for the animated sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is My Name Is… Miles Morales written by the film’s composer Daniel Pemberton (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Enola Holmes, Steve Jobs, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Birds of Prey, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.). Also listen to the track after the jump. The full score album will be released digitally this Friday, June 2. A separate soundtrack featuring the songs from and inspired the movie is being released by Republic Records. Check back on this page for the details of both albums. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers & Justin K. Thompson and stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Issa Rae, Jake Johnson, Daniel Kaluuya, Brian Tyree Henry, Jason Schwartzman, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee and Oscar Isaac. The animated movie will be released in theaters nationwide this coming weekend by Sony Pictures.
