Tommy Walter (of the rock band Abandoned Pools) is composing the original music for the new Max original animated series Clone High. The revival of the cult 2002 show created by Phil Lord & Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie, 21/22 Jump Street) and Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso, Scrubs) also features Abandoned Pools’ theme song (written by Walter) from the original series. Will Forte, Nicole Sullivan, Lord & Miller themselves, Christa Miller, Donald Faison & Judah Miller are reprising their roles from the 2002 show and are joined by new cast members Ayo Edebiri, Mitra Jouhari, Kelvin Yu, Vicci Martinez, Neil Casey, Sam Richardson, Jana Schmieding, Mo Gaffney, Danny Pudi, Al Madrigal, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Michael Bolton, Mandy Moore, Ian Ziering and Steve Kerr. The animated comedy is set twenty years after the original experiment was put on ice and follows Joan, JFK, Abe & Cleo as they have been thawed out to resume school with their new clone classmates. Lord, Miller & Lawrence are also executive producing the MTV Entertainment Studios production with Jeff Ingold (Ted Lasso, Shrinking), Erica Rivinoja (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Erik Durbin (The Last Man On Earth), Judah Miller (Crashing, Bupkis), as well as ShadowMachine’s Corey Campodonico & Alex Bulkley (Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, Little Demon). Jamie Dunlap & Scott Nickolay have previously scored the original show. Clone High will premiere tomorrow, May 23 exclusively on Max.
