Moniker (Skylanders Academy, This Town, Wellington Paranormal, Night Raiders) has been hired to compose the music for the upcoming Netflix original animated film Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie. The movie based on the hits series SpongeBob Square Pants is directed by Liza Johnson (Elvis & Nixon, Hateship Loveship) and features the voices of Carolyn Lawrence, Tom Kenny, Wanda Sykes, Clancy Brown, Mr. Lawrence, Bill Fagerbakke, Johnny Knoxville, Rodger Bumpass, Craig Robinson, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Grey DeLisle and Matty Cardarople. The film follows Sandy Cheeks and SpongeBob SquarePants on a journey to Texas to save the town from a villainous plot. Kaz and Tom Stern (Freaked) wrote the screenplay based on story by Kaz. Karyn Rachtman serves as the project’s music supervisor. Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie will premiere in 2024 on Netflix.
