Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC/BritBox drama The Other Bennet Sister. The album features the show’s original music composed by Anne Chmelewsky (Where Hands Touch, To Cook a Bear, Maestra, The ShepherdGuillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, Only People). The soundtrack is already available to stream/download now exclusively in the UK (visit the British Amazon store to listen to audio samples) and will be coming out in the U.S. and other international markets in the coming weeks. The Other Bennet Sister is developed by Sarah Quintrell based on the novel of the same title by Janice Hadlo and stars Ella Bruccoleri, Ruth Jones, Richard E. Grant, Indira Varma, Richard Coyle, Tanya Reynolds, Dónal Finn, Maddie Close, Molly Wright, Laurie Davidson, Varada Sethu, Poppy Gilbert and Grace Hogg-Robinson. The 10-series follows Mary Bennet, the often overlooked middle sister in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, as she steps out of her sister’s’ shadows in search of her own identity and purpose. The 10-part drama currently airs in the UK every Sunday on BBC One (and is also available to stream on the BBCiPlayer) and will make its U.S. debut on May 6 on BritBox.
