Nima Fakhrara (Lou, Detroit: Become Human, The Signal, Sick, The Pyramid, Alone) is returning to score the upcoming action thriller sequel The Last Temptation of Becky. The film is directed by Jenn Wexler (The Sacrifice Game, The Ranger) and stars Lulu Wilson, Neil Patrick Harris, Brandon Flynn, James Urbaniak and Kate Siegel. The movie follows the title character who now operates as a CIA field agent and travels to Poland to infiltrate a family of innkeepers who run a tourist attraction at Hitler’s Second World War bunker. Matt Angel wrote the screenplay based on story by himself and Suzanne Coote (The Open House) who both previously directed the second installment in the Becky series. Russ Posternak (Burn, Separation) & Chadd Harbold (South of Heaven, Barron’s Cove) are producing the project for Post Film, alongside Paul Kennedy (One Last Deal, Nightride) & Aideen Hand for Village Films, Larry Greenberg (Out of the Blue, Fear the Night), as well as Jordan Yale Levine & Jordan Beckerman (Bandit, The Kill Room). Fakhrara has previously scored the original 2020 film, as well as its 2023 sequel The Wrath of Becky. The Last Temptation of Becky is set to be released this summer Quiver Distribution.
Fakhrara’s other recent feature scoring projects include Nick Simon’s Entity Within and Maclaine Nelson’s Don’t Move, which are both expected to premiere this year.
