Fair Trade Services will release a soundtrack album for the faith-based drama I Can Only Imagine 2. The album features the songs from the film performed by lead actor John Michael Finley and the Christian band MercyMe, as well as Tim Timmons. Also included are selections form the movie’s original score composed by Brent McCorkle (Jesus Revolution, Unconditional, Unsung Hero, Steve McQueen: American Icon). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 20. I Can Only Imagine 2 is directed by Andrew Erwin & McCorkle and also stars Milo Ventimiglia, Sophie Skelton, Trace Adkins, Arielle Kebbel, Sammy Dell and Dennis Quaid. The sequel follows MercyMe’s Bart Millard who is living the dream after the success of his titular breakout hit, but behind the spotlight, his past threatens the family he’s built, especially the fragile bond with his son. The drama is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Lionsgate.
