Christopher Young (HellraiserSpider-Man 3,Ghost RiderSinister,  Drag Me to Hell, The Shipping NewsThe Hurricane, The Exorcism of Emily Rose) has been tapped to score the upcoming supernatural horror thriller Passenger. The film is directed by André Øvredal (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, The Autopsy of Jane Doe) and stars Jacob Scipio, Lou Llobell and Melissa Leo. The movie revolves around a young couple who witness a horrific accident that leaves the driver dead and are soon being pursued by a demonic stalker who’s impossible to outrun. Walter Hamada (Primate, Whisper) is producing the project for 18Hz, alongside Gary Dauberman (Annabelle Comes Home, Salem’s Lot) for Coin Operated. Passenger will be released in theaters nationwide on May 29, 2026 by Paramount Pictures.

Young’s other recent projects include Twisted Pixel Games’ & Oculus Studios’ video game Deadpool VR, which he co-scored with his son Gil Young.
