A24 Music will release a soundtrack album for the British romantic comedy drama Pillion. The album features the film’s original score composed by Oliver Coates (Aftersun, Mary & George, 100 Nights of Hero, The History of Sound, Foe, The Stranger, Occupied City, Significant Other). Also included is a synth rendition of Erik Satie’s GymnopĂ©die No. 1. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 12 and physically on February 6. The purchase links will be added to this page soon. Pillion is written and directed by Harry Lighton and stars Harry Melling, Alexander SkarsgĂĄrd, Douglas Hodge and Lesley Sharp. The movie revolves around a timid man who is swept off his feet when an enigmatic, impossibly handsome biker takes him on as his submissive. The dramedy, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, opened in UK theaters last month and will be released in the U.S. on February 6 by A24 following an awards-qualifying release earlier this fall.
