Buck Records has released a new soundtrack album for the 2003 documentary Touching the Void directed by Kevin Macdonald. The album features the remixed and newly remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by Alex Heffes (The Last King of ScotlandQueen of Katwe, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, The Regime, 11.22.63, Roots, The Rite, State of Play). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Touching the Void tells the story of two climbers and their perilous journey up the west face of Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes in 1985. The movie was released in U.S. theaters in early 2004 by IFC Films and is now available to stream on AMC+ and to purchase DVD.
