Premiering on Wednesday, October 1, is the crime thriller Play Dirty co-written and directed by Shane Black and starring Mark Wahlberg, LaKeith Stanfield, Rosa Salazar, Chukwudi Iwuji, Keegan-Michael Key, Nat Wolff, Thomas Jane and Tony Shalhoub. Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Avengers: Endgame, Predator, Captain America: The First Avenger, Cast Away, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Polar Express) has composed the film’s original music. Premiering on Friday, October 3, is the Netflix limited series Monster: The Ed Gein Story created by Ryan Murphy & Ian Brennan and starring Charlie Hunnam, Tom Hollander, Suzanna Son, Laurie Metcalf, Vicky Krieps, Lesley Manville, Olivia Williams, Joey Pollari, Charlie Hall, Addison Rae, Tyler Jacob Moore, Will Brill, Mimi Kennedy and Robin Weigert. The show’s original music is composed by Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, Feud: Betty and Joan, Leave the World Behind, American Crime Story, The Politician, Scream Queens, Ratched). The 8-parter, which tells the true story of the infamous murderer and grave robber who inspired many of Hollywood’s most iconic on-screen killers, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
