Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series Katrina: Come Hell and High Water. The album features the selections of the show’s original music composed by Grammy Award winner Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard (Malcolm X, BlacKkKlansman, Inside Man, 25th Hour, The Woman King, Perry Mason, Da 5 Bloods, Red Tails). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s main theme after the jump. Katrina: Come Hell and High Water is directed by Geeta Gandbhir, Samantha Knowles & Spike Lee and centers on a group of Hurricane Katrina survivors as they reflect on the disastrous storm that forever changed their lives and the systemic inequities it exposed. The 3-part series, which features first-person accounts and archival footage that illustrate the magnitude of Katrina and the aftermath of the levees breaking and the bungled recovery, premiered last month and is now available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
