Nima Fakhrara (LouBecky, Detroit: Become Human, The Signal, The PyramidAlone) has been hired to score the upcoming supernatural horror thriller Entity Within. The film is directed by Nick Simon and stars Heather Graham, Mimi Rogers, Morgan Peter Brown and Kevin Keppy. The movie is set in 1974 suburban Los Angeles and revolves around a single mother who is violently attacked by an unseen force in her home and turns to a team of paranormal researchers, leading to one of the most documented and disturbing supernatural cases in U.S. history. Thomas Fenton (Saw IV, I Spit On Your Grave 2) wrote the screenplay. Steven Schneider (Insidious, Paranormal Activity series) is producing the project with German Michael Torres (The Girl in the Pool). Fakhrara has previously collaborated with Simon on numerous features, including 2015’s The Girl in the Photographs and 2021’s Untitled Horror Movie. Entity Within is expected to premiere in 2026.

Fakhrara’s other upcoming upcoming projects include the horror thriller Don’t Move directed by Maclain Nelson (Vamp U, Once I Was a Beehive) and starring Lyndsy Fonseca, Hunter King, Rob Riggle and Joseph Lee Anderson. The movie is based on the bestselling 2020 novel of the same name by James Murray & Darren Wearmouth and revolves around a woman who joins her church group on a camping getaway after losing her family in a tragic accident, but the trip takes a turn when they mistakenly ends up in an area of the forest targeted by a dangerous predator. Nelson also co-wrote the screenplay with Murray & Wearmouth. David M. Wulf (The Card Counter, Call Jane) is producing the project for Impractical Studios. Don’t Move is currently awaiting a release date.
