Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1982 animated feature The Secret of NIMH directed by Don Bluth and starring Elizabeth Hartman, Dom DeLuise, Derek Jacobi, Hermione Baddeley, Peter Strauss and John Carradine. The album features the expanded and newly remastered score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, Patton, Basic Instinct, Gremlins, Chinatown), including around eight minutes o of previously unreleased music. The 2-CD set is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and find out more information about the release. The label has previously released an expanded edition for the title back in 2015. The Secret of NIMH is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
