Pathé Films has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller 13 Days, 13 Nights (13 jours, 13 nuits). The album features the film’s original music composed by Guillaume Roussel (Black Beauty, The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan & Milady, 3 Days to Kill, Expend4bles, Lift, The Spy, Happy!, November, The Man with the Iron Heart). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first and final track after the jump. 13 Days, 13 Nights is co-written and directed by Martin Bourboulon and stars Roschdy Zem, Lyna Khoudri, Christophe Montenez and Sidse Babett Knudsen. The movie is set against the withdrawal from Afghanistan of U.S. troops in August, 2021 as the Taliban march on Kabul and recounts the true story of French Commander Mohamed Bida and his elite police team who find themselves trapped alongside hundreds of civilians and devise a plan to evacuate the stranded masses and reach the airport. The thriller premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and just opened in French theaters this past weekend. No word yet on a domestic release date.
