Luftstrom Records has released a soundtrack album for the British comedy Sunlight. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christoph Bauschinger (Brassic, The Exchange, Lockwood & Co.). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s “opening” track below. Sunlight is co-written and directed by Nina Conti and stars Conti herself and Shenoah Allen. The movie executive produced by Christopher Guest follows a woman who is creating a new persona by dressing up in a monkey costume as she strives to break free from a toxic relationship, when she encounters a suicidal radio show host and hatches a plan that could help finance a new life. The comedy, which premiered at last year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival, has just been released in New York last weekend by Sunrise Films and is expanding to Los Angeles this weekend.
