Boom Ting Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the BBC drama What It Feels Like for a Girl. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jakwob (aka James Jacob) (How to Have Sex, My Fault: London). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first two tracks below. What It Feels Like for a Girl is created by Paris Lees inspired by his memoir of the same name and stars Ellis Howard, Laura Haddock, Laquarn Lewis, Adam Ali, Hannah Jones, Calam Lynch, Alex Thomas-Smith, Jake Dunn, Dickie Beau, Hannah Walters and Michael Socha. The series set in the early 2000s revolves around a teenager stuck in a small working-class town that hasn’t been the same since the coal mine shut down in the 80s as he escapes to Nottingham’s underworld.
