La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1986 slasher sequel Friday the 13th Part VI – Jason Lives written and directed by Tom McLoughlin and starring Thom Mathews, Jennifer Cooke, Renée Jones, David Kagen, Kerry Noonan and Darcy DeMoss. The album features the newly restored, remixed, remastered and expanded original score from the sixth installment in the Friday the 13th series composed by Harry Manfredini (Wishmaster, House, Swamp Thing, DeepStar Six), including previously unreleased music. The CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. La-La Land has previously released “Ultimate Cut” releases of Manfredini’s score from the original Friday the 13th movie, Part II, Part III and Part V – A New Beginning. Friday the 13th Part VI – Jason Lives is now available on VOD and DVD.

The label’s other new releases include Union Pacific: The Paramount Westerns Collection – Vol. 2, a 4-CD soundtrack collection of original film score recordings from Paramount Pictures’ big-screen westerns by composers including Elmer Bernstein, Franz Waxman, Victor Young, Leo Shuken, Adolph Deutsch, Charles Bradshaw & others, as well as a new vinyl edition for the 1964 James Bond movie Goldfinger featuring music by John Barry.
