Ilan Eshkeri (StardustThe Young Victoria, Layer Cake, Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, Still Alice, Kick-Ass) has been hired to score the upcoming Paramount+ original series MobLand. The show is created by Ronan Bennett (Public Enemies, The Day of the Jackal) and stars Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Anson Boon, Lara Pulver, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Daniel Betts, Geoff Bell, Lisa Dwan, Emily Barber and Helen Mirren. The crime drama centers on two warring London crime families who clash in a kill-or-be-killed battle that threatens to topple empires and ruin lives . Bennett & Hardy also executive producing the MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios production with Keith Cox (Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown), Nina L. Diaz (The Agency), David C. Glasser (Yellowstone, 1883), Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, Snatch), Jez Butterworth (Edge of Tomorrow, Ford v Ferrari), Kris Thykier (Woman in Gold, The Debt), Ivan Atkinson (The Gentlemen, Wrath of Man), Dean Baker (Taboo, Great Expectations), Ron Burkle (Lawman, Tulsa King), David Hutkin (Waco: The Aftermath, Lawmen: Bass Reeves) and Bob Yari (Crash, The Illusionist). Eshkeri’s hiring was announced by the Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency. MobLand will premiere on March 30 exclusively on Paramount+.
