If This Then Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary New Wave. The album features the film’s original score composed by Greg Bernall (Social Animals) & Chris Upton (Ba). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to a track (There Is a New Wave) from the composers’ score below. New Wave is directed by Elizabeth Ai and centers on a group of displaced Vietnamese refugees who fled their country by boat and in the 1980s redefined their identities in suburban Orange County, California, through New Wave music. The documentary premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and was released in select U.S. theaters last fall.
