Premiering tonight is the new CBS drama Watson developed by Craig Sweeny and starring Morris Chestnut, Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kendall, Inga Schlingmann, Ritchie Coster and Rochelle Aytes. The show’s original music is composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Dynasty, Boston Strangler, Tales from the Loop, Wormwood). The series, which takes place six months after the death of the title character’s friend and partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty and follows Dr. John Watson as he resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders, will air Sunday nights on CBS and will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
Premiering on Tuesday, January 28, is the Hulu original series Paradise created by Dan Fogelman and starring Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Aliyah Mastin, Sarah Shahi, Percy Daggs IV and Nicole Brydon Bloom. Siddhartha Khosla (Only Murders in the Building, This Is Us, The Idea of You, Rabbit Hole, Welcome to Chippendales, Queenpins, Looking for Alaska) has composed the show’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be released on Friday. Premiering on Wednesday, January 29, is Marvel Animation’s Disney+ original series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man developed by Jeff Trammell and starring Hudson Thames, Colman Domingo, Zeno Robinson, Eugene Byrd, Grace Song, Charlie Cox and Hugh Dancy. The show’s original score is composed by Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Obliterated, Twisted Metal, Florida Man). Hollywood Records has released the song Neighbor Like Me by The Math Club feat. Relaye & Melo Makes Music this past Wednesday. Premiering on Thursday, January 30, is the Prime Video original movie You’re Cordially Invited written and directed by Nicholas Stoller and starring Will Ferrell, Reese Witherspoon, Meredith Hagner, Geraldine Viswanathan, Jimmy Tatro, Stony Blyden, Leanne Morgan, Jack McBrayer and Celia Weston. Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Bridesmaids, Bad Teacher, Daddy’s Home, Freaks & Geeks, Funny People, Piece by Piece) has composed the film’s original music.
