Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, January 15, is the Spanish limited series Cristóbal Balenciaga created by Lourdes Iglesias, Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño & Jose Mari Goenag and starring Alberto San Juan, Belén Cuesta, Josean Bengoetxea, Cecilia Solaguren, Adam Quintero, Gemma Whelan, Gabrielle Lazure, Thomas Coumans, Anouk Grinberg, Patrice Thibaud, Nine d’Urso and Anna-Victoire Olivier. The show’s original music is composed by Alberto Iglesias (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Volver, The Constant Gardener, The Kite Runner, The Skin I Live In, The Room Next Door). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last January when the series premiered overseas on Disney+. Also premiering on Wednesday is the Italian Netflix original series Public Disorder (ACAB) created by Filippo Gravino based on Carlo Bonini’s novel ACAB – All Cops Are Bastards and starring Marco Giallini, Adriano Giannini, Valentina Bellè, Pierluigi Gigante, Fabrizio Nardi, Donatella Finocchiaro, Chiara Muscato, Daniele Natali, Federico Mainardi and Flavia Leone. Mokadelic (Citadel: Diana, Gomorrah, Django, Romulus, The Immortal) have composed the show’s original music. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer collective’s score this past Friday. Premiering on Thursday, January 16, is the Peacock original documentary series SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night executive produced by Morgan Neville, Caitrin Rogers & Juaquin Cambron and featuring SNL cast and alumni, Including Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, among others. The show’s original music is composed by Roahn Hylton & Jacob Yoffee (The Wonder Years, Vampire Academy, Bel-Air, Sherwood, Free Meek). The 4-parter, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the American late-night comedy institution’s most iconic elements and rich history, will be available to stream exclusively on Peacock.
Premiering on Friday, January 17, is the Netflix original film Back in Action directed by Seth Gordon and starring Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Kyle Chandler, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts and Rylan Jackson. Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Ride Along, Sausage Party, Lost in Space, Tom & Jerry, Supernatural, Agent Carter) has composed the movie’s original music. Also premiering in the U.S. on Friday is the British TV series The Couple Next Door written by David Allison and starring Sam Heughan, Eleanor Tomlinson, Alfred Enoch and Jessica De Gouw. The show’s original music composed by Hannes De Mayer (Gangsta, Rebel, Noise, Torpedo, Rafaël, The Racer, Black).
