Netflix Music will release a new soundtrack album for the South Korean Netflix original series Squid Game. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Jaeil Jung (Parasite, Okja, Mickey 17, Broker), as well as tracks written by Kim Sungsoo and Park Min Joo. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 27. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Genie Music Corperation has previously released an album featuring the Emmy Award-nominated composer’s score from Season 1 back in 2021. Squid Game is created by Hwang Dong-hyuk and stars Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, Gong Yoo, Yim Si-wan, Park Gyu-young, Kang Ha-neul, Lee Jin-uk, Yang Dong-geun, Park Sung-hoon, Kang Ae-sim, Choi Seung-hyun, Lee David, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri and Won Ji-an. The new season follows Player 456 who – three years after winning Squid Game – comes back with a new resolution in his mind and once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game. Season 2 of the Firstman Studio production will premiere tomorrow on Netflix.
