Composer, singer/songwriter and pianist Emily Bear is reteaming with director Stephen Herek (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, 101 Dalmatians) on the upcoming Netflix original film Our Little Secret. The romantic comedy starring Lindsay Lohan, Ian Harding, Kristin Chenoweth, Jon Rudnitsky, Tim Meadows, Henry Czerny, Chris Parnell, Judy Reyes, Dan Bucatinsky Katie Baker & Ash Santos follows two resentful exes who must spend Christmas under one roof after discovering their significant others are siblings – while hiding their romantic history. Hailey DeDominicis wrote the screenplay. Lisa Gooding and Mike Elliott (The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power, American Pie Presents: Girls’ Rules) are producing the project. Bear has previously scored Herek’s last feature, Dog Gone. Our Little Secret will premiere on November 27, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.
Bear (The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, The Premise) has also co-written all original songs for Disney’s Moana 2, which will be released in theaters nationwide on November 27. Her other recent scoring projects include Anderson .Paak’s K-Pops, which premiered last month at the Toronto International Film Festival and is currently awaiting a release date.
