Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original limited series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. The album features the show’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Thomas Newman (American Beauty, Road to Perdition, The Shawshank Redemption, 1917, Skyfall, Finding Nemo) and Julia Newman (Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, At the Gates, American Horror Stories). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 13 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is created by Ryan Murphy & Ian Brennan and stars Javier Bardem, Chloë Sevigny, Cooper Koch, Nathan Lane, Ari Graynor, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Dallas Roberts and Leslie Grossman. The second installment of Netflix’s Monster true crime anthology series chronicles the case of the real-life brothers who were convicted in 1996 for the murders of their parents and explores the complex dynamics within the Menendez family. The series will premiere next Thursday, September 19 exclusively on Netflix.
