Provident Films will release a soundtrack album for the faith-based drama The Forge. The album features the film’s original score composed by Zack Leffew (Halloween Be Thy Name, A Murder of Innocence, Palau the Movie). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 23 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A separate soundtrack featuring songs from and inspired by the movie can be checked out here. The Forge is co-written (with Stephen Kendrick) and directed by Alex Kendrick and stars Cameron Arnett, Priscilla Shirer, Aspen Kennedy, T.C. Stallings, Karen Abercrombie, BJ Arnett, Ken Bevel, Jonathan Evans, Benjamin Watson, Jerry Shirer and Tommy Woodard. The movie follows a young man who – a year out of high school with no plans for his future – is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life. The drama is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Sony Pictures’ AFFIRM Films.
