Varèse Sarabande and Craft Recordings have announced the first-ever vinyl release of the score to the 2005 movie adaptation of the video game Doom directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak and starring Karl Urban, Rosamund Pike, Dwayne Johnson and Razaaq Adoti. The 2-LP deluxe edition features the film’s original score composed by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, Noah, The Fountain, Rebecca, Peacemaker, The Wrestler, Stoker, Love Lies Bleeding, Moon) and will be available on on Green and Orange Smoke vinyl (in homage to the Doomguy’s suit colors) in North America and as a Black Ice vinyl internationally. The soundtrack will be released on October 11 and is now available for pre-order on Varese’s official website (where you can also find out more details) now and will also be available on Amazon within the next couple of days. The 2-LP gatefold package includes brand-new illustrations by artist Micha Huigen on the cover and the inside of the package. The label has previously released the original soundtrack album back in in 2005 and a deluxe edition featuring over an hour of previously unreleased music this past April. Doom is now available on VOD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
