Paramount Music will release a soundtrack album for the Roku original series The Spiderwick Chronicles. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Aska Matsumiya (After Yang, Bruised, Betty, Skate Kitchen, I’m Your Woman, Phoenix Rising, Selah and the Spades). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 12. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album and also listen to the composer’s first track below. The label has previously released The Regrettes’ main title song Something Magic earlier this year. The Spiderwick Chronicles is developed by Aron Eli Coleite based on the bestselling novels by Tony DiTerlizzi & Holly Black and stars Joy Bryant, Noah Cottrell, Lyon Daniel, Mychala Lee, Jack Dylan Grazer and Christian Slater. The fantasy adventure tells the story of the Grace Family who move into their family’s ancestral home in Michigan, where they uncover mysteries hidden inside their great grandfather’s estate and discover a secret, fantastical world around them. The series premiered this past April and is now available to stream exclusively on the Roku Channel.
