Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama Dandelion. The album features the original music from the film composed by The National’s Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, Sing Sing, She Came to Me, Bardo) & Aaron Dessner (C’mon C’mon, Cyrano, Transpecos), including both the score and the original songs performed by cast members KiKi Layne, Thomas Doherty, Brady Stablein and Grace Kaiser. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 12 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to the first score track and song after the jump. Dandelion is written and directed by Nicole Riegel and also stars Melanie Nicholls-King and Jake Stablein. The movie follows a struggling Cincinnati singer-songwriter who falls into an intoxicating romance that leads her to a deeper appreciation of her artistic journey and the discovery of a voice that is authentically her own. The drama premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by IFC Films
